The One Christmas Movie You Have to Watch

Like many of us, you are gathered together and have found yourself home for the holidays preparing gifts and sharing lost time with family members you haven’t seen as much as you would like throughout the year. I personally have two best friends and two siblings, my little brother and sister whom are all two years apart. We have carried on Christmas traditions that have been instilled within us since we were little children setting out cookies and tracking Santas sleigh. The first is one that many of us share which is the matching PJs. It was fun to run around when we were little but as we grown older it has been a tradition carried out for style and of course cute Instagram pictures.

The second being watching one of my favorite classics, It's A Wonderful Life. We always loved to turn it on but it wasn’t until the past few years that I truly embraced and was grateful for the carried on tradition that instilled many important life lessons and genuine advice that I will carry with me through out my life. So why you get ready for your Christmas movie marathon filled with Elf, Home Alone, and A Christmas Story remember to save a spot for It’s a Wonderful Life. We all could use a reminder of the importance of helping others, love for family and friends, perspective changes everything, and finding the best in others. As Clarence says, “No man is a failure who has friends.” This Christmas if you are gathered with friends and family turn on Netflix and watch It's a Wonderful Life, I promise you won’t regret it.

I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas! What are some of your families Christmas traditions?
