PAJAMA MAMA: HOW TO MAKE THE PAJAMA TREND WORK

September 15, 2017

Whenever a trend comes out that doesn’t just look good but also super easy and comfortable, you know I’m there. I have fully embraced the pajama look and really digging this new Fall fashion of 2017 between the slip dresses, velvet, silks, and furs… how could you not? Andddd the timing could not be more perfect, don’t get me wrong I love summer but I’m ready for fall, pumpkin spice lattes, and cool evenings.

SLIP DRESSES

A good slip on dress can go a long way, the simplicity can give you a timeless look in every occasion. Pair it with a t-shirt underneath and favorite fall booties or sneakers for a day look. For a night out with the girls bring out your knee-high boots or ankle strap heels and a leather jacket. With a slip dress you will never go wrong.

KIMONOS

Overthinking your outfit and can’t seem to find an outfit… the kimono fashion trend is offering an alternate solution to this problem. Pair it with a pair of skinny jeans and a basic tee/tank and you are ready to hit the town. Don’t limit the power of a kimono, it can carry you through multiple seasons.

SLIP ONS

If you don’t want to give up the summer just yet then luckily we still have our slip ons to keep us from having a mental break down. The studded, fluffy, and embellished slides can still have us walking on sunshine. This is a perfect way to embody the pajama trend and pair it with some denim distressed boyfriend jeans and a basic tee to add that extra pop that you need.

SILK BLOUSES

If you are trying to master the pajama trend look then we all know that slip blouses is a necessity. Take your silk pajama tops from the sheets to streets… ok that was awful. Why wasn’t this style around when I was in school?
